Allow me to introduce myself. I am a massive nerd. No, a REALLY massive nerd. I have a PhD in Astrophysics and everything. I am also a fan of all sorts of boozy things, in a very nerdy way.

• I like to explore the science of booze
• I like making my own booze (admittedly usually flavouring spirits and ageing cocktails rather than brewing and distilling – small London flats aren’t particularly conducive to those)
• I also like really nice beer, wine, spirits and cocktails
• I like matching foods with booze
• I moan about hangovers
• I like bullet points

I have decided I need some form of outlet for these things, so here we are! I don’t know what form(s) this will take, but join me on this occasionally sober ride through alcohol!
